Summary[]
Pope Leoni addresses his masses about the corrupt nature of the lords, especially that of Theo. Therefore he declares a Holy War be started to combat the unified forces lead the Imperial Army.
A meeting is held concerning the Order of the Crest declaring war with the Imperial Army. It's believed that that the Order and the academy are connected. This is because the members of the order have blocked the path to Eramu. The Order's military might are 5,000 strong, but their followers are 70,000 strong. On the other hand, their superfluous number of followers is greatly made of women, the elderly, and children. To help ease the tensions with the Order and Pope Leoni, Priscilla plans to negotiate with him and Siluca will accompany her.
The pope learns of the Imperial Army's location and plans to launch an attack on them the following day. That night, Theo sees Priscilla, Siluca, Irvin, and Aishela off as the go-to the base of the Order of the Crest.
At the Order of the Crest base, Siluca with a cloaked Priscilla try and negotiate with Pope Leon. He, however, who interprets the negotiation as Theo agreeing to capitulate his Crest to the Order. Siluca, on the other hand, argues that Theo isn't trying to that whatsoever. She states that he's trying to use the Crests to create the Grand Crest to end the age of Chaos. To reinforce Siluca's claim, Priscilla uncloaks herself and speaks in favor of Theo's goal. She then casts her Crest into the air and reveals her Holy Grail Crest. This action humbles the pious followers in the sight of the grail. Priscilla continues her praise of Theo claiming that she was lead to Theo to bear witness to his noble deeds. As his influence over his followers begins to wain, Pope Leon is told by his associate Gunther to kill Priscilla and have her Crest return to Chaos. This was in order to fulfill his bargain with the Pandora group.
So Pope Leon approaches Priscilla in a calm and affable manner, but then stabs her in the chest causing her to faint. Aishela then tries to attack the Pope, but he's then surrounded by his holy infantry. Leone then proclaims that he received from God that Priscilla is a heretic and was to be executed for it. This was soon proven to be not the case as the Holy Grail doesn't transform back into chaos after Priscilla dies. Remorseful for his actions, Pope Leon refuses to follow anymore "suggestions" from Gunther the agent from Pandora any longer. In response to that, Gunther tries to kill Leon, but is stopped by Irvin.
Afterward, Irvin informs Theo of the situation who becomes distraught over the revelation that Priscilla has died. He's still urged to head to the base and take the Holy Grail Crest for himself. Lead by Irvin and followed by Lassic, Emma, and Luna, Theo arrives in the base and absorbs the Holy Grail Crest. Once this is over with, Theo takes Priscilla's corpse out of the base.
